According to Patanjali, the goal of yoga is to reduce suffering and to increase wholeness and integration. Wholeness arises out of a nourishing and life-affirming connection to oneself, community, and nature. We’ll use bodily shapes as doorways into the whole self: body, mind, heart, and spirit.
