Reflection

As I sit down to write this final entry on our journey through the 59 Lojong Slogans with Pat Harada Linfoot, I am filled with a sense of quiet fulfilment. Slogan 59, “Don’t Expect Applause,” beautifully captures the heart of our practice–doing good for the sake of good, not for recognition.

This journey has been another profound experience. Each slogan has challenged me to reflect deeply, fostering growth in ways I hadn’t anticipated From transforming adversity into opportunity to practicing compassion without seeking praise, the Lojong SLogans have become an integral part of my daily life. Whether on the yoga mat, in meditation, or while refereeing basketball games, these teachings have grounded me, reminding transformation and peace that come from living these principles authentically.

Thank you, Pat, for your unwavering guidance. And thank you to everyone who joined us on this path. Let’s continue to carry these teachings in our hearts, practicing with humility and love.
