"When you finish sitting in meditation, if things become heavy and solid, be fully present and realize everything is actually pliable, open, and workable. I light a candle.
Take a sip of water.
Lay on the ground cushioned by my yoga mat and a blanket.
Cover my body put to my shoulders.
Soles of the feet planted on the floor wider than my hips.
Knees knocked into each other.
Left palm on my beating heart.
Right palm on my belly feeling the rise and fall of my breath.
I rest in the middle of the floor.
Relax into stillness.
Into the open unbiased space.
Rest.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.Rumi
